Meet and greet at the International Airport and transfer to your Panama City Hotel.
Day 2: Panama Canal and City tour
Full day Panama Canal and City tour in private. Includes museum entrances to Panama Viejo and Miraflores Locks, Entrance to Church of the Golden Alter and visits to Casco Antigua, Panama Viejo and other historic sites. Breakfast and lunch included. Overnight accommodations at your Panama City Hotel.
Day 3: Embera or Atlantic Side Tour
Breakfast at Hotel then choose between 2 tour options - Embera Indian Village Full day tour 8:30-4:00 - Includes transportation from your hotel to the Piragua (dug-out canoe) put-in point. Transfer up the Chagres River to spend a half day with an Embera Indian village tribe. You will enjoy sharing their culture with dance and lunch. You can shop for their arts and crafts. Following lunch you will go to a waterfall for a swim then return by boat to the bus and back to your hotel. OR A day trip to the Atlantic side Take the train across the isthmus of Panama where you will be met in Colon. Visit the new Gatun Locks visitor center to see the Canal expansion project, followed by visits to other sites on the Atlantic side. Have lunch, then visit the Portobelo Spanish Fortress before returning to Panama City. Breakfast and lunch included. Dinner on your own. Overnight accommodations at your Panama City Hotel.
Day 4: Partial Transit through the Panama Canal
Breakfast at Hotel then Partial Panama Canal transit. Full day tour 8:30-3:30pm. Includes pier transfers, transit through Miraflores and Pedro Miguel Locks and Gaillard Cut. Lunch served during transit. This is a group tour and will have an English-speaking guide. Overnight accommodations at your Panama City Hotel.
Day 5: El Valle Indian Market and El Chorro Macho Waterfall Hike
After breakfast, depart at 8:00 am for a 1.5 hour drive to the Anton Valley, where you will discover a picturesque village that harbors a crafts market with a diverse offering of flowers, fruits and vegetables, as well as crafts handmade by the villagers themselves. You’ll visit the El Chorro Macho Waterfall, where you will walk through the tropical rain forest. At the zoo and botanical garden, El Nispero, you’ll become familiarized with the flora and fauna endemic to this region. You could also see the ‘golden frog’ among other species. Tour the area and the Indian Market and enjoy lunch (included). Here is your chance to bargain with the natives and pick up those hand-made souvenirs by the different artisans of Panama. Day 6: Free day in El Valle
Breakfast at Los Mandarinos. Enjoy the day in this cooler climate of Panama exploring on your own. Overnight accommodations at Los Mandarinos.
Day 7: Transfer to the Beach
Breakfast included. Breakfast at Los Mandarinos. Check out around 11:00 am and head to a Beach Resort. Check-in and enjoy a leisurely afternoon exploring this resort property and its available amenities. Overnight accommodations at a beach resort.
Day 8: Jungle Boat Tour
Breakfast included. Breakfast followed by the Jungle Boat Tour: Venture by boat into Gatun Lake to explore the wildlife along the banks of the canal. Arrive at the floating lodge hidden in one of the finger lakes for a nice "comida tipica" lunch. In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to fish, kayak, hike and swim at a water fall or just swim and enjoy the floating lodge. Accommodations at the beach.

Day 10: End of Tour – Depart Panama
