The Panamonte – Boquete
Historic elegance & gourmet Panamanian cuisine
Housed in history, this 1920’s Panamonte Inn is Boquete’s original fine place to dine. In fact, dining here is a Panamanian tradition: patrons have included all of Panama’s presidents, movie stars like Sean Connery and President George W. Bush.
The elegant 1920’s decor and historical ambiance make for a memorable occasion. Then there’s the gourmet cuisine by Charlie Collins, one of Panama’s most famous chefs.
Lunch might be a bowl of their famous Spiced Pumpkin Cream Soup and a Mesclun Salad with local goat cheese. Dishes include local Trout in Black Butter and Almonds, Homemade Ravioli Stuffed with Mushrooms in Porcini Sauce or a Sizzling Filet cooked to perfection.
