Santa Catalina Hotel Panama

An oceanfront, boutique eco-hotel in Santa Catalina, Veraguas Province of Panama. We are located directly in front of the world-class surf break at Santa Catalina Panama, and the paddle out channel is at our doorstep! Our location is ideal for surfing, diving/snorkeling Coiba Island, fishing, or just enjoying the beaches. We are within walking distance to all the restaurants, bars, stores, and surrounding beaches. Isla Coiba is just a short boat trip from our hotel. We offer snorkel, kayak, and snorkeling and scuba diving tours to Coiba Island, plus fishing and surfing tours to Cebaco Island.

Our rooms are built for comfort, with memory foam beds, 100% Egyptian cotton bed linens, a/c, ceiling fans, private bathrooms with hot water, a refrigerator, and private key-entry closets for storage. Each room also has a terrace with hammocks, tables & chairs. Our large rancho (bohio) includes the Banaba cafe/restaurant, Sky TV, DVD player, and a large lounge area with hammocks, chairs, tables, ping-pong table, and bathroom.

Previously known as Kenny’s Surf Camp (since 1981), in 2010 we tore it down and re-built, with all-natural, sustainable, eco-friendly materials including stone, rock, clay tile, and local tropical hardwoods, offering a unique tropical style, preserving nature with low impact, while providing a very comfortable ambiance for our guests.
