Here is one review from Trip Advisor about our restaurant:
“The waiters were great and very informative: they had not problem explaining what was on the menu, a lot of which was original and the rest needed translating for us We started with ‘conchuelas con humo de hierbas y canela’ Scallops with cinnamon with grilled vegetables’ and ‘Hash de patacones con langostinos al grill y pico de gallo’. Both were perfect. We also could not resist the ‘Capuccino de tomate con espuma de queso cabra, cappuccino with goat cheese foam, which turned out to be cream of tomato soup topped with goat cheese foam.
For the main course we had the baby back ribs, which were made with lemon grass, honey, and passion fruit sauce served with mushroom parmesan risotto: to die for. And the ‘corvina al chorrillo’, where the corvina was served in a magnificient seafood sauce including a number of shrimp. It came with ‘Patacones de papitas’. Patacones are a typical Panamanian specialty of plantain except these were made with potatoes.
We barely had room for dessert, but we ordered the chef’s version of chocolate brownies. Wow! Covered in a very delicate ice-cream, the flourless chocolate cake was absolutely impeccable. A couple of perfect short espresso and some limoncello (as there does not appear to be any Panamanian digestives).”
