Albrook Mall & Bus Terminal

Albrook Mall & Bus Terminal

The Panama City bus terminal is part of Albrook Mall. Albrook Mall is the largest shopping mall in Latin America with over 700 shops. Find almost anything you want here. Stores range from bargain to ultra-luxury. Three food courts offer huge variety of restaurants and fast-food joints. There’s also an arcade, bowling alley, movie theater and Metro that goes to some parts of the city.
Because of its connection to the bus terminal and bargain shops Albrook can get crowded on the weekends, especially during the holiday season. Multiplaza is a more upscale alternative.

Hours: Mon-Sat: 10AM-9PM, Sun: 11AM-7PM

Albrook Bus Terminal: If you’re on a budget, you can get to places in Panama very cheaply by bus. The Bus Terminal is adjacent to the Mall, about 15 minutes from downtown Panama City.

Every city in the interior of the country is connected by a network of “bus stations”, even if it’s just a bus stop with a sign.

Most buses are comfortable and with A/C. Bring a sweater in case it gets too cold. For short trips, some buses are refurbished American school buses. The seats are not always comfortable and it can get crowded, but hey, this is an opportunity to mix it up with all those friendly locals.
