Panama City has a wide selection in both price and location of excellent gated communities to choose from.
Costa del Este: Panama City's largest gated community area with homes between $300,000 and to over a million. Costa del Este is on the Panama City coastline 15 minutes from the international airport and 15 minutes from downtown Panama City.
Costa Sur: Near to Costa del Este, with home in the mid-price range starting from $258,000. Sunset Coast has one level homes and Costa del Sur, both two level and one level.
Former Canal Zone Area: Panama City's former Canal Zone area is known for its lush vegetation and are called "garden cities. The area is 20 minutes from downtown Panama City. The new American Embassy and Consul are located here along with a number of other international organizations. Embassy Club is an exclusive gated community with both low rise condos and fine homes, ample green areas and recreational and service amenities.
