Health Care Services
One of the great advantages of living in Panama is the high quality of medical care and the large number of English speaking, US-trained physicians and specialists. Medical and dental care are on a par with the USA. The same techniques, facilities and medications are used but costs average at least 50% less . Several Panama City hospitals
compare favorably to the best US hospitals.

In Panama City: Two excellent hospitals that cater especially to foreigners- Hospital Nacional and Hospital Punta Pacifica. Twoother excellent hospitals are Clinica Punta Paitilla and Clinica San Fernando.
In Boquete and Chiriqui: We always hear good things about the Chiriqui Hospital and Mae Lewis Hospital, both in David. The Chiriqui Hospital has an attractive health coverage plan for about $800.00 a year for two persons.
