Architect Frank Gehry's projects have all turned into tourism destinations in and of themselves. His Panama City Biomuseum will be the same. The $90 million ocean-front project features interactive exhibits by the celebrated Bruce Mau.

It will both educate and entertain as you learn about how the world changed when the Isthmus of Panama emerged out of the ocean 15 million years—joining two continents and changing global ocean currents. Called the most important geological event in the last 65 million years, Panama's entrance created the conditions necessary for human evolution.

Entrance fee: $22 for adults, $11 for students and children.

Hours:
Mon: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Wed-Thu: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Fri-Sun: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
